The Circle Poem

We at the Center look towards

the future…

Like an isolated dirt road
Our collective memory
Is no more
than a dead end

And still
We travel this road
Alone
in silence

Over
And over again

Back and forth

Forth and back
Moving

Always moving but going
No where

Our eyes see a different road!

A noisy
Crowded boulevard
Packed with travelers
listening, talking, sharing
Moving forward until the road
is magically
Transformed into a circle
Of social justice
And our collective memory soars
To a place of hope, tolerance and
peace.
