Barbara Raye worked with Monte Hillerman, Vice-President of Real Estate and Development at St. Paul Port Authority and a team of professional consultants on a year-long stakeholder engagement process to address redevelopment of an abandoned industrial site.

The stakeholders represented workers, universities, public officials, historical perseveration advocates, property owners, artists, former workers at the site, and current residents. They reached agreement on jobs, soil clean up, site design, and remediation for historical sites removed from the property.

The site is now a fully developed business park, and the historical remediation is one of the most creative park areas in the city.
